The Florida Marlins finally got rid of Robert Andino. To me i always liked the kid, he was really up close and great with the fans. He was always willing to sign an autograph or take a picture. plus being that he was raised in Miami it felt good to have a hometown player on the team. But that all changed today as the Marlins traded him to the Baltimore Orioles for a kid named Hayden Penn. Robert was going to be the Marlins shortstop of the future but in came Hanley and killed that dream for Andino faster than you can say fire sale!! Hopefully Rob can be great for the Orioles and show the Marlins what they gave up. As for Penn he was The 2004 Orioles Minor League Pitcher of the Year. So that at least has some upside plus he still young, But has not appeared in the Majors since 2006 due to injuries. He made 21 starts with Triple-A Norfolk in 2008, going 6-7, 4.79. Hmmm…. make you think…Rob I’m sure going to miss you, good luck!!!!
