It’s coming up on a year really fast since one of my all-time faves Scott Olsen was traded from the Marlins to the Washington Nationals on November 11, 2008……Scott was drafted by the Marlins in 2002 and was 173rd overall pick in the draft…. He got called up to the big show in 2005 and had one win and five losses….. He holds the single-season record for the most strikeouts by a Marlins rookie at 166, and he had two 10-or-more strikeout games that year. The reason i miss Scott on our team is because of that fire he has…. The passion this kid has is like none other I’ve seen in baseball for a long time…. Who else would say that he hates the Phillies, flicked off the fans in Milwaukee, and got tesared by the police…. I had the chance to meet him with my son back in 2008 before he got traded and he was a great person to be around, he went out of his way to sit down with my son and me to take a picture, and signed everything people where giving him. And when i hear the Marlins had made another trade with Washington a couple of day ago i really hoped it would be to bring back Scott but nope…. Nick johnson glad to have you on the team! But really just wanted to say that i for one miss you Scott and wish you nothing but the best and luck in the rest of your life!! Just read this from Yahoo sports….
